Richard Paul Remodeling
The Challenge
Richard Paul Remodeling had a website—but it wasn’t doing anything for them.
For nearly three years, they had an outdated, hard-to-navigate site that looked like a placeholder rather than a serious business. It didn’t explain their services clearly, wasn’t mobile-friendly, and had zero visibility in search engines. Despite being live for years, the site never generated a single lead.
Most of their work still came from referrals, signs, and word of mouth. That worked to a point—but they knew they were leaving business on the table. Potential customers had no way to learn about their services online, and in many cases, people didn’t even realize they did full remodeling work. Everyone thought of them as “just painters,” when in reality, they were doing full kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, and more.
Their old website failed to:
- Communicate the full scope of services they offered
- Rank on Google for any relevant local keywords
- Make a professional first impression
- Convert visitors into leads
They didn’t want something flashy or overbuilt. They wanted a website that worked—a site that would show up in Google, clearly explain what they do, make it easy to request a quote, and finally start bringing in qualified leads.
They were tired of missing out on opportunities because their online presence didn’t match the quality of their work. What they needed was simple: a site that actually delivered results.
What we did
We started by getting clear on their identity. Most people knew them as painters, but remodeling was actually a bigger part of the business. The website needed to reflect both—but in a way that was digestible, not overwhelming.
First, we structured the site around two major goals:
- Clarity for first-time visitors: What do they offer? Where do they work? How do I get an estimate?
- Local SEO performance: Show up in Google for remodeling- and painting-related searches across their target counties.
We created a clean homepage that immediately communicates:
- What the business does (Remodeling & Painting)
- Where they do it (Philly, Bucks, Montco)
- Why people trust them (Decades of experience, transparent pricing, virtual estimates)
Then we built out dedicated service pages to support both clarity and SEO:
- Interior & Exterior Painting
- Kitchen Remodeling
- Bathroom Renovations
- Basement Finishing
- Flooring Installation
- Deck Building
Each page included:
- Clear descriptions of the work
- Calls-to-action (“Request Your Free Virtual Estimate”)
- Optimized URLs, metadata, and headers for SEO
Design-wise, we used:
- A grounded, honest visual style — no stock photos, just clean layouts and strong typography
- Mobile-first design for blue-collar users who mostly browse on phones
- A muted but professional color palette that supported trust and professionalism
We also implemented:
- A simple quote request form
- A custom service area selector with internal linking
- JSON-LD schema for LocalBusiness, WebSite, Service, and Place to strengthen local visibility
The entire site was built and launched in under 14 days—from kickoff to deployment.
The impact
"Guess what?! Its already working!" said an excited Paul on a call just ONE day after we launched.
The results were immediate. Within the first week of launch, Richard Paul Remodeling was being found on Google by people searching for painters and remodelers in their target counties—something that had never happened before.
“We were invisible online. Now people find us, trust us, and book us—before we even talk,” said Paul.
Here’s what changed post-launch:
- 🔍 Local search visibility increased — the site began ranking for keywords like “interior painting Philadelphia” and “kitchen remodeling Bucks County”
- 💬 Lead quality improved — new inquiries came from people who had already seen their services and understood what they offered
- 💻 Professional credibility skyrocketed — no more explaining over the phone what they do or texting scattered photos of past work
- 📲 Virtual estimate requests started coming in consistently from the website
For Rick and Paul, this wasn’t just about having a website—it was about finally having a digital extension of their reputation. A place where potential customers could land, learn, and take action. And because the site was built on a fast, modern stack with managed hosting, they don’t have to think about updates or bugs. It just works.
For Artol Web Studio, this project is a perfect case study in what we love doing: helping high-integrity, skilled professionals build a digital presence that matches their real-world value—quickly, affordably, and effectively.
